Labyrinth

Labyrinths were a feature of many medieval cathedrals, the most famous being at Chartres in France. They help us to slow down, giving us time and space to explore our own personal/spiritual journey with God.

As you enter the labyrinth, release all that burdens you.........
Matthew 11: 28 'Come to me all who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest'

As you reach the centre of the labyrinth, be open to what you might receive from God.......pause......Let his peace and love fill you……
'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.' John 14: 27

Then as you return, let the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, give you hope...........
'And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.' Romans 5: 5

So, release, receive and return.

If your church would be interested in finding out more about having a temporary labyrinth in your church, then do please get on touch. They are impactful, helping us all in church and the wider community to engage with faith in a creative and meaningful way.
