British Library and St. Bartholomew the Great

A day where we will explore some of the Christian Literature held in the British Library, including - Codex Sinaiticus, the earliest surviving Christian text Greek mid-4th century. John Wycliffe first reformer post plague. William Tydall bible/testament. Martin Luther, Anne Boleyn pocket size Bible. Henry the 8th great Bible and possibly the Lindisfarne Gospels.

There will be an opportunity at the BL for coffee and lunch before we leave and walk (or public transport) to St. Bartholmew the Great, which is London’s oldest parish Church. There will we have a tour and absorb the sense of awe and prayer within this holy place.

You can choose to end the day and return by train around 5pm or stay and attend Evensong at St. Paul’s Cathedral at 5pm, please indicate when you sign up, which you would prefer.
